Since 1968 Grupo Hasar is committed to the integration of high technologies. It has its origins in that year, with the installation of the company Hasler in Argentina, becoming the first manufacturer of electromechanical cash registers in Argentina, with capital and technology of Swiss origin. The commercialization of their products, not only took place in the country, but it was also successfully exported to most Latin American countries such as Uruguay, Chile, Paraguay, Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela and Cuba, among others. During 1974, Hasler decides to withdraw from the Argentine market, which is why the new capital stock and shareholders became argentine.

When the first electronic cash register was launched in 1978 Hasler's cash register was no longer produced. The company obtained Casio's Computer Co representation, which was a success thanks to the high quality of these products. Thus began a strong penetration in the retail market, especially in the supermarket channel. In 1985 began the industrial development, incorporating technical and system engineers and graduates of recognized abilities. Its expansion was such, that led to the own manufacture and commercialization of cash registers. Besides cash registers we began to produce: Multiline telephone, electronic scales, price verifiers, pin-pads with encryption keys, gambling machines, conventional printers, cash registers modular and POS-type PC.

The incorporation of more quantity and variety of products accompanied by the decision to always respond to market variations determined the progressive formation of new companies that would support the multiple needs. Creating Compañía Hasar in 1977, Hasar Servicios in 1987, Hasar Sistemas in 1996, Symbar in 1997 and Hasar Consultoría in 2007. Simultaneously, it is beginning to expand into other countries, with Hasar Chile in 2000, Hasar Paraguay in 2001, Hasar Mexico in 2002 and Hasar Peru in 2008. Actually, we have a manufacturing plant located in Ricardo Rojas, Tigre at Buenos Aires, Argentina in a field of 50,000 m²; 3,200 m² covered area, working with over 350 employees. Grupo Hasar continues forefront of research and development, always with a clear objective: to be a leader par excellence.
